The Iberico pig is a southern, partly wild and very old pig breed. The pigs are rarely fed, but rather look for their own food. The pigs prefer to eat herbs and acorns, which is why the meat also tastes slightly nutty. Because it is permeated by fine fat marbling, it provides you with so much omega 3, which otherwise only certain fish species provide. It has a particularly intense taste, especially when compared to other pork.
