Hohenlohe geese
The farmer Albert Hoch has a special way of raising his geese: They grow up in a maize field. What sounds unusual at first is well thought out and makes sense.
The maize field offers the geese both sufficient feed and shade.
The geese have nine hectares of cultivated land on which they can roam freely. At night they come back to the stable and in the evening they are rewarded with a treat: grain meal.
Thanks to the large area that Albert Hoch makes available to his geese, he can offer his animals with the quality feature “raised in free-range”. The farm is checked regularly. This special type of rearing is reflected in the unique taste of the meat.
