Big Green Egg starter set XLarge

The Big Green Egg XLarge is the ideal choice for those who have a large family and many friends or who regularly want to cater to large groups of guests professionally, for example as a caterer. The grill grate of this multitasker is a good third larger than that of the Large model. So many guests can enjoy the tasty cooked ingredients and dishes at once. With a 61cm cooking surface, large pieces of meat and fish or several pizzas can be cooked at the same time. If the 61cm is not quite enough for you, you can expand the cooking surface by two or three cooking levels with the grid heights available for the XLarge model and literally cook at a high level. Or you can equip the XLarge with side tables, the so-called EGG Mates. This creates an extra large work surface next to the EGG for storing kitchen aids, spices or ingredients. Or you can build the Big Green Egg XLarge in a table (made of acacia wood) or in an outdoor kitchen, the possibilities are endless.

The secret of the egg lies in the combination of several elements. The ceramic reflects the heat, creating a stream of air that makes the ingredients and dishes even more tender. The perfect air circulation allows the ingredients to cook evenly at the desired temperature. The temperature can be precisely regulated and maintained. Thanks to the high-quality, heat-insulating ceramic, the outside temperatures also have no influence on the temperature in the Egg.

The ceramic is coated on the outside with a double protective glaze. Since the Big Green Egg has a temperature range of 70 ° C to 350 ° C, it is suitable for a variety of cooking techniques: for grilling, baking, boiling, cooking, smoking and for slow cooking. The XLarge starter package includes the practical EGG Nest + Handler and the convEGGtor. By using the ceramic convEGGtor, you can easily turn the Big Green Egg into an oven. The convEGGtor acts as a heat shield, which ensures that the food is not exposed to the direct heat of the charcoal. This enables a slow cooking process.
