Description: The Vinosia Est 2004 Salento Primitivo IGT refers to the year the winery was founded (Established 2004). The Vinosia Est 2004 Salento Primitivo IGT presents itself with a bouquet of plum, cassis, dark berries and balsamic notes. Powerful on the palate, perfectly balanced with fruity and spicy-chocolate aromas. Long and intense finish. Another great Primitivo from Puglia. The grapes for the Vinosia Est 2004 Salento Primitivo IGT are dried briefly after the harvest (appassimento) and only then processed. This ensures a concentration of the aromas and other ingredients of the grapes. The Vinosia Est 2004 Salento Primitivo IGT is aged in barriques for around 12 months, followed by a bottle aging period of at least six months. It represents the modern oenology of southern Italy, a classic and autochthonous grape variety interpreted in a modern and original way.
