Traditionally smoked peppers from the La Vera Valley in the Extramadura region of Spain. It is also a tradition in the Spanish Extremadura to smoke the paprika and thus to produce a very unusual specialty. Use: Noble sweet and hot smoked paprika goes well with duck, cream cheese, most legumes and vegetables, chicken, beef and veal, rice, pork, depending on your preference. It should of course not be missing in any BBQ sauce and gives the sauce an incomparable aroma. Paprika does not like strong heat, otherwise it will turn bitter. This is the typical spice for the Spanish sausage specialty chorizo.
